Cleaning up Leadpages images to create landing pages faster!

When I first started using Leadpages, it took a little time to figure out how things worked and what image sizes I needed to be using in their templates. One area I wasn’t concerned with was how to delete Leadpages images.

As a result, I would upload an image using the recommended sizes and see how it looked.

If it looked good, I kept working on the landing page.

Unfortunately, if it didn’t, I would continue to add images to a Leadpages template until it looked just right.

What ended up happening was I ended up creating multiple instances of my Leadpages images. No big deal, right?

As you can see, it did turn out to be an issue because it made it difficult to know which image I needed to choose to use in my Leadpages template.

5 Reasons your content isn’t going viral – and what you can do to fix it!

Creating content isn’t difficult. Creating content that goes viral is!

If you are looking to create the next Internet sensation, it’s not just about pumping out more content. So what is the secret?

Why won’t my content go viral?

According to Social Triggers, one of the main reasons your content won’t go viral is because you need to make it contagious!

So what does it mean to make content contagious? It means you make something readers want to share without you having to do too much asking.

Here are some of the reasons why your current content won’t go viral

1. Lack of emotional appeal

One of the main reasons content does not go viral is because it lacks emotion.

Think about why you share something or engage with it. It’s because it tugs at your emotions.

This can be for a variety of reasons. For example, content that empowers you, gives you a warm feeling, or makes you feel something so much you want to share it.

2. Not “share worthy”

When you publish content, ask yourself – is this something people will want to share?

Instead of just creating more content, I always find it is best to engage with my fans.

For example, I use the hashtag, #AskCK to collect feedback and questions from people.

This way when I am getting ready to create a product such as an ebook, infographic, or training course, I have an idea that there will be interest in it.

3. Bad timing

One of the biggest mistakes people make when publishing content is not utilizing current events and holidays.

A great tool to find upcoming events to create content around is Eventful.

Another way to improve your timing is to look at Google Analytics or Facebook Insights to see when your customers are online and lastly, don’t forget to post content on the weekends – when most people are online.

4. Poor design

Are the images you include with the content you share stuck in the 80’s?

Leverage tools such as Canva, PicMonkey, or Word Swag to help you create amazing looking images to go along with your content.

5. Poor distribution

Once you have hit publish on your content, you’re not done!

If you have created an amazing piece of content or written a great blog post, be sure you do these 12 things afterwards to help get the word out!

In addition to the reason’s listed on why your content won’t go viral, the team at Who Is Hosting This has put together a fantastic infographic that provides more examples along with viral content tips to help you get more of your content shared.

There are hundreds of ways to add social media buttons to your blog or website.

Since I just went through a blog redesign, I wanted to share with you my process for choosing the best social media buttons to add to your blog or website.

By adding social media buttons to your website, this makes it easier for readers to share your content across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and so on.

When you make it easy for readers to share your content on their social media channels, this can help out your site a lot.

As a result, this can lead to higher engagement, more interactions, and more pageviews on your website.

A word about plugins

A lot of people who build their own blog think that adding plugins to quickly solve a problem is the right thing to do.

While you can quickly build your blog, you need to be sure you really need to use a plugin instead of having someone code the feature into your site.

When you add a lot of plugins to your site, not only can this significantly slow down the load times, but you can affect your SEO ranking as well.

When you add social media buttons to your site, be sure you don’t overwhelm your readers.

Before adding any social media buttons, be sure you look at your social interactions in Google Analytics. This way you can determine which social networks you should include.

Let’s take a look at five types of social media buttons you can add to your blog or website to help make it easier for readers to share your content.
